The Mobile Sanctuary
Skoolie Creative Wellness Unit
CE555 is building a converted school bus — a mobile creative wellness unit — that will travel to underserved communities, shelters, and recovery spaces to bring art therapy, creative workshops, and healing resources directly to survivors who need them most.
The Skoolie will serve as a traveling sanctuary: a safe, trauma-informed space where people can create, connect, and begin to heal — no gallery walls required. It will carry art supplies, workshop materials, and the energy of a community that believes creativity is a lifeline, not a luxury.
This is more than a bus. It's a statement: healing should not be gatekept behind geography, income, or access. If you can't come to the sanctuary, the sanctuary comes to you.
